This occurs when the drainage tubes in your eye are blocked, causing pressure to build up, which can damage the optic nerve, connecting the eye to the brain. It’s treated with eye drops, laser surgery or an op, but it’s vital to catch it early, as damage to the eye can’t be fixed and, if ignored, can affect vision. Get your eyes tested at least every two years.
