Everyone gets these from time to time in hands, legs and feet. Too much pressure cuts off the blood supply to the nerves in that area of the body, which is why you can get it from crossing your legs for too long. But if the sensation stays when you’ve taken off the pressure, it could be a sign of something more serious like diabetes, nerve damage or malnutrition.
