We’re all used to a bit of gunk in the corner of our eyes come morning, but find yours crusted shut with it and there could be a bigger problem. Conjunctivitis is inflammation of the thin tissue that covers the front of the eye and can cause a yellow discharge. It’s common, and treatment includes eye drops and ointment, but see your GP if suffering.
